Authentic Ww2 Japanese Pilot Flying Helmet WstarAuthentic ww2 japanese pilot flying helmet w/star. For your consideraiton here is an authentic ww 2 japanese pilot's flying helmet. Obtained from veteran's estate and according to his wife, he took this helmet from a downed japanese fighter plane at. Iwo jima. The leather and straps are in good condition with good color and no rips or loose stitching. The kanji writing is clearly stamped into one of the ear pieces however, the green cloth lining shows considerable wear as this pilot must have had many missions under his belt before being gunned down. This helmet is an excellent example a japanese flight helmet and will make a wonderufl display.
